Proyek Panas Bumi Sarulla ialah bagian inti dari program pembangunan kelistrikan pemerintah Indonesia (Program Jalur Cepat II) dan proyek panas bumi yang dibiayai oleh sektor swasta untuk berhasil menyelesaikan pengaturan pembelian listrik di bawah program tersebut.

Untuk menunjang kebutuhan listrik di Sumatera Utara, Sarulla Operations Ltd. ("SOL") telah membangun pembangkit listrik tenaga panas bumi terbesar di dunia dalam satu kontrak dengan kapasitas 3 x 110 MW ("Project").

Lokasi Proyek adalah Kecamatan Pahae Julu dan Pahae Jae, Kabupaten Tapanuli Utara, Provinsi Sumatera Utara.

Saat ini, Sarulla Operations Ltd membuka lowongan kerja di kota Medan dengan posisi berikut ini:

Civil Construction Manager

POSITION SUMMARY:
Provide technical support to the project management team, especially at the construction site. Supervise and coordinate aspects of the site construction, installation, implementation, monitoring QA/QC and provide regular reports mainly on the aspects of civil discipline.

At the early stage of the project, will focus on the performance of the Project’s Infrastructure Construction.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Under supervision of the Construction Project Manager and in close coordination with SOL’s relevant sections, to undertake the following tasks and responsibilities:
Provide technical support to site management team
Monitors the activities of various project contractors and ascertain full compliance to the construction program, QA/QC, and HSE
Be the representative witness of the Company for QA/QC related tests
Prepare notices for Contractors’ non-compliance(s) to QA/QC programs
Coordinate activities among various Contractors at the site and coordination of different disciplines of engineering (i.e. mechanical, electrical, C&I)
Collects documents from contractors on records of QA/QC
Coordinates with Company’s scheduling engineer for updating overall project schedule
Review of Contractor’s drawing and other document submittals
Assist in reviewing, validating, justification and/or rejection of Contractors’ claims for variation orders
Checks bill of materials as per the design requirements, ensures the equipment, parts availability either manufactured abroad via international shipment or locally purchased items;
Collects all relevant documents mostly equipment manuals, test reports, compliance certificates for the project turn over

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

Graduate of engineering course, preferable bachelor degree or higher

Good computer skills; MS Office and MS Project is mandatory

Experience in working with government and public entities ( permits, land, utility)

Knowledge and experience in office administration

Good communication and reporting skills both verbal and in writing, specifically English

Adequate years of experience in similar management position (e.g. process plants, power plants engineering, construction and commissioning), and other management position, in charge of a diversified staff with variety of duties and knowledge

With experiences in managing multi-national construction projects performed in various countries

Ability to work weekends, holidays and overtime as necessary

Ability and willingness to travel and relocate if required

Multi-culture knowledge and working experience
